Back in Africa.

Sometimes you can know something but when you are experiencing it it becomes more.

The heat in Botswana is strong. I know this but being here I'm more reminded because I'm dripping. The heat is one thing and the rains have been coming which means the humidity is on as well. But it's okay, it's expected.

The pace here is different and I know it. Still, minutes turn into hours more slowly here. If it's happening now it really means that it is happening later. So things will take time and what is supposed to happen today will happen tomorrow. I want to leave here tomorrow but it might be Wednesday.

Something is happening in the bush, not in the city so that's where I need to be. That's the next stop, the city is more frustrating. In the bush things are more straightforward. There's not cars barreling down the line at 120. There's no hawkers with chinese watches and earrings. There will be a different set of problems but with faith and confidence they will be solved along with the others.

So here we go....
